this boy here is seven. wow. i love this kid.

summer continues...

summer is just going by way too fast! don't you think? between swimming at grammie's pool and summer "camp" for z, we have been busy busy busy!!! will post more pics of summer fun over the next few weeks but just wanted to continue to wish everyone a safe, happy and healthy summer! Love to you all!! :)

"Run like the wind...."

my oldest boy just started a new sport. track.
he is pretty darn amazing and fast and awesome.
he had a track meet this past saturday and ran for his life! :)
my friend noelle came and happened to take pics of his quick little self.

he got a 2nd place with his team on the relay.
love this boy.

tennessee is for cool people

the smokey mountains. ahhhh. it is beautiful in God's country.

we spent our Easter vacation in the mountains with my family, parents and sister's family. it was a rare treat and fun was had by all.
already looking forward getting out there again soon. i love it there. God's beauty is in everything.

there is nothing like a sweet new baby to bring joy and HOPE into everyone's lives...

my cousin, who also happens to be my sister-in-law (yes, it's legal. brothers married cousins), just had a new baby girl and she is absolutely beautiful.

my baby came with me to see her and take pics and just relish in her awesomeness.

than a boy who knows his memory verses.

both of my sweet boys know their stuff!! here you will see my littlest man share 4 verses we have taught him. we try to get our boys to say these verses whenever we get a chance so it not only is by memory but also so it will remain in their hearts.

there is nothing more important than knowing God's word.
