my littlest wee one is such a charmer. he is sweet, joyful, very playful and downright silly. he makes me laugh. he's also trouble. he's acquired his first black eye from pulling cans of peas of the shelf! he gets into everything and has the patience of ...well...we're still working on that!

Anyone who has experience with someone diagnosed with autism knows that small steps are often actually really really big steps. My little guy sang a song for me this morning and there really is nothing more precious than to a) hear his voice and b) see how happy it makes him...



We will continue to fight the fight and love him all the way...

My Cohort in crime...

I certainly hope you all had a fabulous valentines day yesterday. I sure did. The highlight for my children was getting balloons from Grandma and Papa...they just love balloons. The highlight for me was having tacos and watching "The Dark Knight" with my man. I just love hanging out with him and sometimes it seems like it doesn't happen quite enough for my liking! :)



But really, I want to introduce you to my friend Noelle. She is fun, exciting, dances with me, laughs with me, and trains with me for the triathalon. Yes, she's the girl I'm doing the triathalon with...and I'm so glad she is or I probably would have bailed out by now.

Here's to many fun and memorable times ahead... :)

Ahhh...Girlfriends

This morning was so much fun! Zach had the day off of school and we had our own valentines party with some of our favorite friends!





I just love my girlfriends, don't you? It is so refreshing to be able to get together and laugh and talk and just enjoy the sweet company. Some of them are old dear friends and some of them are new and just as dear. God is so cool like that...He gives me great HOPE with my friendships and I just wouldn't trade them for the world.

Today has been a great day so far. I've had the pleasure of taking a bike ride with my dad this morning. My dad is the best dad in the world. He is funny and kind and one of my best friends. I am so happy that we can take time to be together and "play"...

He is helping me train for my first triathalon on August 2nd...so in preparation, we traveled the Medford/Shamong roads and braved the crazy winds! We actually rode 15.48miles this morning. YIKES! This gives me great HOPE for the up and coming race that I will be partaking in...yet I really have such a long long way to go...

Why We're Hopeful...

Let's see....where do i begin?
Today is the first day of the HOPE of spring...a little sunshine has come our way and a little warm weather has shown itself to us! i have decided to share our HOPE with all of you. This is a journey of my life (our lives) as a family. I want to bring you along the "journey" of our sons... as they grow and as they learn. You see, they are miracles to us and they bring us great HOPE and great JOY! One son is autistic and very special to us. he has taught us all about HOPE and has, in turn, brought us even closer to our Maker - God! Our other son has brought us complete JOY. he makes us laugh beyond measure!

This will also be just a mom's journey of everyday life. I hope it brings HOPE, laughter and a little bit of love into your lives everyday...I'm a little bit random, so be prepared! :)

I hope this site will bring you closer to God and continue to bring you HOPE and JOY in your lives! Thanks for coming along side of me....
