For the Dads in my life...

i love my dad. he is the best dad in the whole wide world. he makes me laugh, is great to both me and my sister, loves my mom and i just enjoy being with him.

BIG changes in a little boy...

my oh my!
my little Z is just growing up so quickly!



he has so many challenges ahead of him but i see God continually holding his and our hands as we wait and HOPE and see what the Lord will do! He does not fail us!
we already have mighty prayers being answered!
z's school meeting went very well and we have so many wonderful services lined up for him this summer AND it will continue on into and throughout the school year ahead.
summer school in july. check.
extra hours of behavioral sessions in august. check.
being integrated into the preschool program with "typical" children with his very own shadow. check.
extra pt, ot, behavioral and speech therapies added on top, making him have 4 full days and one half day of school. check.
[whew]
thank you to all who prayed over zach and with us for zach and this meeting... God answers prayers!

oh, and did i mention we put him in his new big boy bed this past weekend AND he was Soooooo excited. no problems. no transition time. my little man was ready and we were so proud of him for being so brave!



and one last thing... my sweet boy finally started going pee pee on the potty. this is a huge work in progress as he approaches 4, but at least once a day and today he accomplished it twice... he is "getting the idea"... i am so thankful for his progress and feel this summer he will finally and HOPEfully be potty trained! :)



could God be any cooler or any more awesome! praise Him with me, won't you?

hello friends....
well, no this is not the most flattering picture of me but this is what i look like today.



i am tired.

i have been going non stop and i am just tired. don't get me wrong. i love my life. God is so good to me in every way.

my husband is a hottie, godly and loves me to pieces

my children are lovable and sweet and kind and crack me up

my friends listen to me, love me and are really just the best

my parents are more supportive than ever and so much fun to be with

my church is wonderful with new and beautiful opportunities that await me

even my exercise routine continues to keep me "movin" (that is saying it lightly)

so i have no complaints but i am in serious need of a b r e a k!

Forever Friends!

What a fantastic week I had! I had a fun visit with my college friend. There are no bonds like that of a college friend. She is dear to me in so many ways. We were roomies with two precious other girls that are also dear to my heart. JKS-O and I met our freshman year and it was lifelong friendship after that! :)

We had the chance to catch up, laugh, eat, chase our children around, eat more and just enjoy our moments together.

It is such a shame she lives on the totally opposite side of the states then me but with her sweet baby boy due in September, I'll be hopping on the plane to see her new addition! :)

Good Ol' Tennessee

What a wonderful spring break! My parents and the 4 of us went to Galtinburg & Pigeon Forge Tennessee to sight see and just have some fun! After 10 hours in the car, we rode up a winding mountain to an even steeper driveway to the cabin we rented for the week. It was just beautiful and we had such a good time!
We hiked, ate, went to a rainforest zoo, did Dollywood, ate some more and just did all the tourist stuff that makes a trip fun!
We'd go back in a heartbeat and hope to do that one day soon! :)

Easter

There is such joy in the Easter holiday! This happens to be my very favorite holiday because it is the entire reason I am a Christian. Without Jesus' resurrection, there would be no reason to be a Christian and no Hope as we know it. It is such a powerful reminder of Christ and what God did for us all. It's exciting to think about, really.

We will be gone over the actual holiday so we had some of our family and friends over to celebrate with a big easter egg hunt. We had a great time and fun was had by all!
